Texturize that boat!
Tired of the stained, oxidized, and worn surfaces of the non-skid areas of your Boat where there is a lot of foot traffic? Having trouble removing blood and fish debris and rust stains? Want to make it easy to clean?
The Poli Grit™ was formulated by boat owners who got tired of battling stained, oxidized, and worn non-skid areas on their boats.
If you own a boat, you know it’s a constant battle to keep high-traffic areas clean, looking good, and safe.
Poli Grit™ transforms your boat’s high-traffic areas into durable, safe, and aesthetically pleasing surfaces. It increases traction, seals and protects, and brings back that high gloss shine to your non-skid areas.
No more sticky fish debris, unsightly rust stains, chalky or peeling gelcoat, ground-in sand, or slippery surfaces.
You can use Poli Grit™ on decks, stair treads, gunwales, and sterns.
Poli Grit™ is NOT intended for use on your boat’s hull, or anywhere that doesn’t get stepped on from time to time.
If you want to get rid of oxidation and restore a brilliant, “factory new” shine to your hull, please check out our Poli Glow® Deluxe Kit..
It includes our flagship boat polish Poli Glow®, which we designed to be a longer-lasting, glossier, and more complete restoration treatment than boat wax.
Like Poli Glow®, Poli Grit™ is a sealant developed for longevity, ease of application, ease of maintenance, and cost-effectiveness, while providing the most brilliant shine on the market.
For over 25 years, Poli Glow® has been sealing and protecting boats all over the world, keeping them looking glossy and new.
Experience the #glossthatsboss for yourself.
If your boat is oxidized, faded, or anything other than brand-new, Poli Glow® products are designed to seal the gelcoat and restore a glossy shine.
Due to the need for traction, however, Poli Glow® should not be used on the non-skid areas of your boat.
When to purchase a Poli Grit™ Kit:
Before using Poli Grit™, you must prep your non-skid areas with Poli Prep™ and Poli Ox™ as you would the hull to remove oxidation and stains.
Please refer to the Poli Grit™ Application and Maintenance Guide for detailed guidance.
Poli Grit™ is applied in a simple two-step process.
Bottle A is used in step 1 to add texture and grip, enhancing safety where it’s needed most. Bottle B is used in step 2 to seal the gelcoat of the non-skid areas from oxidation, stains, and wear.
Directions for use:
Every year, we recommend applying a few maintenance coats of Poli Grit™.
When Poli Grit™ is first applied, it can last up to a year or more in certain
conditions.
However, Poli Grit™ was never meant to be a one-time application. The Poli Grit™ surface will oxidize over time just like any other product or structure left out in the elements.
The reason to maintain the finish is to prevent oxidation and the need to do heavier prep work annually.
If maintained properly, Poli Grit™ can last five to six years, and the heavier prep work
can be avoided.
At least once per year, wash your boat with Poli Wash™ and re-apply 1 coat of Poli Grit™ bottle A and 3-4 coats of bottle B to maintain your glossy shine.
The number of maintenance coats you should apply will vary depending on where you live. Boats in more humid, equatorial climates may need more frequent maintenance.
Check out the Poli Grit™ Application and Maintenance Guide for detailed guidance.
