Poli-Mitt™ Applicator

Our Redesigned Poli Glow® Applicator

A plush, coral fleece microfiber mitt designed to make applying Poli Glow® as easy as possible.

The Poli-Mitt™ applicator puts Poli Glow® at your fingertips (literally) to help you achieve a perfect, streak-free finish on any surface.

A soft elastic band prevents the mitt from sliding off while working, without being tight or uncomfortable.

The Poli-Mitt™ applicator puts all the control in your hands. Old rags, regular chamois, or microfiber towels can leave behind streaks and fibers, while soaking up more Poli Glow® than you need.

By contrast, the Poli-Mitt™ applicator:

🚀 Speeds up the application process

✋ Fits snugly over your hand, enhancing control and feel during application

🔍 Easily navigates tight and challenging spaces

🌍 Eco-friendly and reusable, reducing waste from disposable gloves and towels

💧 Machine washable for repeated use

Don't let its primary function fool you—the Poli-Mitt™ is a versatile tool. Once it’s served its purpose for Poli Glow®, you can repurpose it for:

  • Applying Poli Slick Seal™

  • Cleaning with Poli Super Spray™

  • Washing your vehicle with Poli Wash™

  • Keeping windows crystal clear

💡 Are you more the old-school type? The 7" Chamois is our OG applicator, which some customers still love.

Application Instructions

Directions for use:

  1. Dampen the Poli-Mitt™ with water and wring out any excess.
  2. Shake Poli Glow® well and apply several lines onto the mitt. Gently wring to distribute evenly.
  3. Apply Poli Glow® following the directions in our Poli Glow® Application and Maintenance Guide
  4. If dirt and debris become embedded into the Poli-Mitt™, or Poli Glow® hardens along the edges, follow the directions below to clean it before resuming the Poli Glow® application.

Directions for cleaning:
  1. After the application of Poli Glow®, rinse the applicator thoroughly with clean, fresh water. Wash the mitt in a bucket with a few ounces of Poli Prep™ and a few gallons of water. A small amount of Poli Wash Pro™ may be used to loosen and remove dirt and oils.
  2. If Poli Glow® has hardened onto the mitt during use, this can cause streaks. Mist the mitt with a diluted form of the Poli Prep™ or Poli Strip™ concentrate to loosen the Poli Glow® and rinse with water.
  3. It can also be washed in the washing machine with warm water and then machine dried at a low temperature. Depending on the amount of dirt, use 2-4 ounces of Poli Wash Pro™ along with a mild detergent to help remove dirt and oils. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.

Amazing! Yes, took some elbow grease but my 1998 Four Winns hasn't looked this good in over 15 y...

It isn't just the mitt, it's the entire product line. I have tried for years and years to bring back the original color and shine and FINALLY got it Again, thank you!

Terrific!

Leaving in the Central-Valley of California, the sun take starts the oxidation quickly. I have a 13 year old trailer and the product made it look new. Easy to apply the Poli-Strip and the Poli -Glow.

Use the applicator, not the mitt!

I have been using Polyglow for 10 or more years now. As a comercial fisherman in Maine my boat is in the water and fishing year round, only hauling it out for a couple of days for annual maintenance. First let me say the product works great at keeping the hull looking like new as long as you follow the instructions. Second, when it comes time to remove the old polyglow use Zep floor wax stripper. You will hate yourself if you try the polyglow stripper. Finally I have used both the 7" applicator and the mitt. The mitt is faster but the product doesn't last as long on the hull. On a 40' boat I don't have time to get it 10+ coats. 5 coats with the applicator will do the same job. I hope this review helps.

This applicator is far better than the mitt provided with the kit

This applicator is far better than the mitt provided with the kit. It puts on thinner coats and alleviates the build up of noticeable poliglow streaks. It also will grab some of the bugs and other dust items that accumulate on the surface as you're applying the poli-glow. I put water in a spray bottle, in fact, we had no water in yard at marina so I used lots of water in spray bottles and many, many towels, but I kept misting the applicator once every 3-5 linear feet of hull. This helped eliminate any build up and start and stop marks from the application. There's lots of positive and negative feedback on poli-glow. Removing old poli-glow was not fun. We had to use poli-strip and an orbital sander...however when reapplying I was stopped by many observers asking what I was applying to the hull because it had an incredible shine. It helped that the hull was very chalky prior to application due to the sanding. Even some of the marina employees were shocked how good it looked and how effortless the application was. Apparently they didn't watch me strip the old poli-glow! Be careful not to sand through the gel coat. I definitely recommend the applicator and poli-glow.

Really nice!

Did start to separate from the wrist band before finishing half of the RV but contacted POLIGLOW and received a replacement in a few days. Excellent customer service response. Even thru in a bottle of POLIWASH form my trouble.

The mitt is effective at applying the poliglow. I noticed some little "spikes" on the third application and thought it was the mitt shedding some fiber, but it did not do that on the four application.

Phenomenal!

Great with a mop handle screwed into it for easily applying Poli-Glow to hull of my 40' Chris Crafy
