Remove Oxidation From Your Boat or RV

If you notice your boat or RV looking dull, faded or chalky, there’s a good chance that oxidation is to blame. Oxidation is the gradual degradation that happens when a vehicle’s surfaces are exposed to oxygen in the air. While this is a natural process, it can take a heavy toll on your boat or RV’s appearance and function over time.

The good news is that Poli Glow®’s line of restoration products makes it easy to remove heavy oxidation and return your prized possession to pristine condition.

Recover Your Vehicle’s Original Shiny Finish

Repairing and restoring your gelcoat, fiberglass, aluminum or other exterior surfaces doesn’t need to be a drag. Poli Glow® is a water-based polish that binds tightly to your boat or RV’s exterior to deliver long-lasting protection and high gloss shine.

How To Maintain Poli Glow®

Unlike traditional waxes, Poli Glow® can last for five to six years. The key to maintaining that factory-floor gleam over the long haul is to follow a maintenance plan. This includes washing your boat or RV, applying maintenance coats of Poli Glow® at least once a year, and taking the time to inspect your vehicle for early signs of oxidation.

It is essential to be aware that the product’s longevity may vary depending on your local climate and weather conditions. In regions with high heat and humidity, you will need to apply more initial coats and touch up your coverage more frequently. Refer to our Poli Glow Coating Chart to determine the number of coats required for your specific climate zone.

How To Remove Poli Glow®

Even with the best maintenance, no protective coating lasts forever. When it’s time to remove and re-apply Poli Glow®, use Poli Strip® and a non-abrasive scrubber to chemically remove the layers of polish. No buffer required! Watch this 1-minute video to learn more.
