How To Wash Your Boat or RV

Many Boat and RV owners don’t wash their vehicles often enough, or they use the wrong products (dish soap is a hard no). This is a problem because both Boats and RVs are exposed to many environmental contaminants. Dirty Boats and RVs are prone to oxidation, UV damage, staining and other forms of deterioration. Regular cleaning is a non-negotiable for maintaining your Boat or RV’s condition and preventing costly damage.

If you’ve put this task off for a little too long, don’t stress… just follow these steps to get your Boat or RV sparkling clean again:

1. Choose a day with good weather, characterized by minimal rain, wind, and humidity. If you’re washing a boat, haul it out of the water on a trailer to clean below the waterline.
2. Pour 1-2 ounces of Poli Wash® Biodegradable Boat & RV pH-Balanced Soap into a 5-gallon bucket. Add fresh water to fill the bucket, using the water pressure to create suds.
3. Working from top to bottom, wash your boat or RV exterior with a soft cloth.
4. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Do not allow the soap to dry on the surfaces.
5. Buff all surfaces dry or let them air dry.
